C. Bronze standing fi gure of a boy with black patinated upper body and legs, gilt bronze loincloth, a quiver of arrows on his back and wearing two beaded necklaces and arm bracelets, enameled eyes, his arms raised supporting the clock housed in a gilt-brass drum with beaded bezel, circular base set with chased gilt-bronze swags from satyr masks, beaded border, raised on hairy paw feet. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gilt brass Directoire hands. M. 90 mm., circular brass plates, spring barrels for both trains, anchor escapement with silk suspension, countwheel striking the hours and half-hours on a bell. Dial signed. Dim. 45 x 19 cm.
