Two-body, rectangular bombè with engraved body, bird cover painted with a scene of the ?Girl on a Swing? after Boucher, the scene continues on the top panel, square case at the back housing the clock, the border decorated with painted on enamel roses on a cream ground. D. Off-white, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gilt Louis XVI hands. M. Rectangular brass, going barrel and rectangular bellows, the revolving bird with moving wings and beak, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, gilt brass grill pierced and engraved with foliage. Dim. 11 x 9 x 10.7 cm
