SILVER & ENAMEL DESK CLOCK Swiss, No. 490, retailed by Kendall, 17 Rue de la Paix, Paris. Made circa 1910. Very fine, silver and enamel, 8-day going desk clock.
C. Drum-form overlaid with translucent Royal ble guilloche enamel within white line borders, silver back with reeded edge and hinged strut. D. Blue translucent guilloche enamel over sunray engineturning, gold paillon Arabic numerals within circular black reserves, gold paillon minute divisions and central fl ower garland. Gilt poire hands. M. 54 mm, Swiss patent 33236, matte gilt, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 94 mm.
