GIRARDIER L?AINE - SKELETONIZED PINK GOLD CARILLON QUARTER REPEATER WITH THREE HAMMERS Girardier L?Aine, No. 1330. Made circa 1820. Fine and very rare, 18K pink gold, carillon quarter-repeating with three hammers, skeletonized pocket watch.

C. Three-body, ?Empire?, polished, reeded band. Gilt-rimmed glazed cuvette hinged to the movement ring. D. White enamel, annular with Arabic hour numerals and outer minute divisions, glazed center disclosing the repeating work. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Gilt brass, skeletonized and foliate engraved, fusee and chain, verge escapement with three-arm brass balance with fl at balance spring, faceted red endstone, silvered regulation dial, repeating on steel gongs with three hammers activated by depressing the pendant. Edge of cuvette signed. Diam. 53 mm
