IVORY POCKET WATCH & IVORY & TURQUOISE CHATELAINE Swiss. Made circa 1860. Fine and unusual, turned ivory pocket watch with integral ivory and turquoise-set chatelaine with key and seal en-suite. Accompanied by the original fitted box.

C. Two-body, turned ivory, two turned pendants, the back secured by two screws, recessed shuttered apertures for the winding and hand-setting. Chatelaine inlaid with cabochon turquoises, steel and ivory links, the upper panel engraved with a monogram LB. D. Small white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 15???, matte gilt, Lepine caliber, jewelled cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 42.5 mm.
