Four-body, "Louis", polished, hinged bezel decorated with engraved gold foliage on a black and white champleve enamel ground, hinged back with aquamarine guilloché enamel and the initials MD in red and blue painted on enamel, engraved gold border, outer border decorated to match the bezel. Polished hinged gold cuvette engraved "Marie Desquartiers, 1er. Janvier, 1895". D. White enamel with radial blue Arabic numerals in gold paillon cartouches, outer gold dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis hands. M. 14???, frosted gilt, wolf's tooth winding, 17 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 38.5 mm.
