LOUIS DUCHENE ENAMEL FLOWERS AND PEARLS Louis Duchène & Fils, (Genève), No. 96869. Made circa 1810. Very fine, 18K gold, polychrome painted on enamel and pearl-set pocket watch.
C. Two-body, the back painted on emamel with a fl ower and fruit bouquet, translucent royal blue enamel background over radial sunray engine-turning, reeded band, the bezels set with pearls. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 35 mm., frosted gilt full plate with turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, fl at balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulator dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 41.5 mm.
