AERO WATCH, THE SERENADE Aero Watch, Neuchatel, Swiss, case No. 151. Retailed by Jacques, Horloger. Made circa 1960. Very fine, 18K yellow gold and painted on enamel by the artist WCF, hunting cased keyless dress watch.

Three-body, bassine, polished, curved band, the back fi nely painted on enamel with a scene of a young couple serenading in a rural landscape in the 18th century style, signed ?wcf?, the back cover with dark green and red champleve enamel panel with scalloped border, outer fl oral border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and red 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 16 ½???, gilt with oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating fl at balance spring, incabloc shock absorber, micrometer regulator. Dial signed Jacques Horloger, case signed Aero Watch S.A., Neuchatel. Diam. 51 mm.
