LONGINES ? 1ST CLASS LEVER CHRONOMETER WITH GUILLAUME BALANCE Longines, "Chronomètre 1er. Classe, Neuchatel", movement No. 2057154, case No. 2044073, retailed by Maeght-Amiens. Made circa 1910. Very fine and rare, 18K pink gold, keyless, pocket lever chronometer with Guillaume balance, achieved 1st class rating at the Observatoire de Neuchatel. Accompanied by a period Longines fitted rosewood box.

C. Four-body, bassine, polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved "Longines Chronomètre, 1er. Classe, Neuchatel". D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost red 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold spade hands. M. Cal. 19.95, matte gilt, 17 jewels, the upper jewels in screwed gold chatons, straight-line lever escapement, Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, micrometer cam regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50.5 mm.
