H.R. EKEGREN SPLIT SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD H. R. Ekegrén, Copenhagen, No. 19060. Made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia circa 1910. Very fine 18K gold keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph.

C. Four body, solid, demi-bassine, polished, hinged case back with engraved monogram, hinged gold cuvette with inscription. D. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track with 5-second Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 16''', rhodium plated, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator. Chronograph with visible work, push button at 11 to activate the split-seconds chronograph function. Dial, case and movement signed Diam. 50 mm.
