TIFFANY FIVE MINUTE REPEATING & SPLIT SECOND CHRONOGRAPH Tiffany & Co., New York, movement and case No. 18013. Made circa 1900. Very fine and rare, hunting cased, 18K yellow gold, five-minute repeating keyless pocket watch with split second chronograph. Accompanied by a 36 cm yellow and white gold chain with a rectangular pendant decorated with a dragon and opening slide to reveal 5 dice.

C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished, case back and front cover with fl uted edges and engraved monogram, button for splitseconds function at 2, hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th second track with red 5-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Blue steel spade hands. M. 16 1/4 ???, three-quarter plate, nickel plated, 28 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co. Diam. 55 mm.
