BUCHERER BIRD LAPEL WATCH YELLOW GOLD & DIAMONDS Bucherer, Swiss, case No. 33785. Made in circa 1960. Fine, rare and unusual, 18K yellow gold and diamond brooch in the shape of a bird house and a bird of Paradise fitted with a keyless watch.

C. Two-body, front realistically modeled as a bird house, roof set with a row of 8 diamonds, surrounded by a bird of paradise, pin with clasp at the back. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, dart and dot indexes. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. 976, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating fl at balance spring. Dial and movement signed, numbered on the case. Dim. 48 x 33 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
