Notes

This watch and chatelaine has survived in extremely good condition thanks to the survival of the outer protective case for the watch and the fitted case. The enamel is finely painted with a depiction of the goddess Ceres who sybolizes plenty. The very delicately executed white champleve enamel decoration is accented with rose-cut diamonds set in silver mounts. The chatelaine is also very finely decorated to complement the watch and also retains the original gold and enamel key.
