QUARTER-REPEATING & CHRONOGRAPH Initiative, Swiss, No. 116618. Made circa 1910. Fine, 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-repeating pocket watch with chronograph.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, applied gold monogram on front cover. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph ring divided into fifths, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 45 mm (20???) frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by depressing push button in the band at 6 o?clock, patented silent governor. Dial and cuvette signed. DIAM. 51 mm.
