A. LANGE & SOHNE ? 1ST QUALITY WITH SPECIAL AMERICAN CASE A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte b. Dresden, No. 14754. The movement sold to Charles William Schumann, New York on April 6th, 1882 for 145 Marks. Very fine and rare, 18K pink gold and enamel, hunting cased keyless pocket watch with Lange?s Guillaume-type balance. Accompanied by the Extract from the Glashütte Archives.
C. Three-body, Louis XVI, polished, the front cover decorated with a black champleve enamel monogram beneath a coronet, the back with black champleve enamel coat of arms. Snap-on gold cuvette engraved `Margharita Taylor, December 25th, 1891`. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. M. 16???, Glashütte 3/4-plate, German silver plated, 17 jewels in screwed gold chatons, straight line Glashütte lever escapement, gold pallet fork and escape wheel, banking with a pin and hole, Lange Guillaume-type balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, the terminal stud adjustable by a screw, diamond endstone, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, case and cuvette numbered. DIAM. 45 mm
