DOUBLE DIAL ? TRIPLE CALENDAR & DUAL TIME ZONE Swiss. Made for the Turkish market, circa 1890. Fine and rare, 18K gold, open-cased, keyless, double-dialled pocket watch with independently adjustable dual time zones, triple-date calendar and phases of the moon.

C. Three-body, polished,correctors in the bezel for the calendar. D. White enamel, two meantime dials, the first with radial Roman numerals, the second with Islamic numerals, subsidiary seconds, gold paillon decoration. Reverse: White enamel, two subsidiary dials for days of the week and months (in Arabic), phases of the moon aperture at 6, outermost Islamic date scale. Gilt and blued steel hands. M. 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, index regulator. DIAM. 45.5 mm
