REUGE ? ?CARTEL REVOLVER? TABLE MUSICAL BOX WITH 24 TUNES ? SPECIAL EDITION Reuge Music, Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, ?Cartel Revolver?. Made in a special edition circa 2000. Very fine, flame-mahogany, ebonised and satinwood inlaid table musical box with matching table, playing 24 tunes with 144 notes on a comb with 6 carrousel-mounted interchangeable cylinders each playing four tunes.

The box with serpentine sides inlaid with stainwood stringing, hinged lid similarly inlaid, the interior with the tune list, table en suite with cabriole legs and a single drawer at the front with lock and key. Hinged glazed cover over the movement. M. Matte pink gilt-brass base plate, two large spring barrels wound in tandem by a ratchet lever, the six 26.5 cm interchangeable cylinders each playing four tunes housed together on a carrousel frame, playing on a two-piece toothed tuned steel comb, fly governor, play/stop selection lever at the side. Signed on the tune sheet and movement. DIAM. 94w x 58d x 102h cm.
