GRUEN BICOLOR GOLD WANDERING HOURS Gruen, Geneva, movement no. 24503, case no. 110756. Made circa 1925. Very fine and rare, two-color 18K gold keyless dress watch with wandering hours and sector minutes. To be sold without reserve
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, yellow gold band, concave white gold bezel and bow, white gold back. D. Brushed silver with curved aperture for the wandering hours, 60-minute track on the edge, large offset center-seconds. Blued steel seconds hand. M. 16 ½???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, stamped twice with the seal of Geneva quality mark, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed. DiaM. 45.5 mm.
