B. HAAS JEUNE & CO QUARTER REPEATING PERPETUAL CALENDAR MOONPHASE HUNTING CASE PINK GOLD B. Haas Jeune & Co, Genève, Paris, No. 15382, circa 1895. Very fine 18K pink gold, hunting-cased, moon phase, astronomical, keyless, quarter-repeating, pocket watch with perpetual calendar.
C. Four-body, massive, bassine et filets, polished, the front with an engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with exposition medals and an engine turned border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with blue 5-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the day of the week, month combined with leap year indicator, date and seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Gold spade hands. M. 43 mm, nickel, fausses côtes decoration, 31 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band. Dial and case signed, case signed B.H.J.Co. DIAM. 58 mm.
