MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH LIMOGES ENAMEL PANELS French, No. 2367. Made circa 1890. Fine and rare, gilt-brass and Limoges painted on enamel, 8-day going miniature carriage clock.

C. Multi-piece, gilt-brass, the sides set with Limoges painted on enamel panels depicting nymphs seated on flowering boughs, one playing the lute, red background, glazed back door, hinged handle. D. Circular matte gilt with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, red enamel mask decorated with flowers, a bird and gilt foliage. Black hands. M. Rectangular gilt-brass plates, going barrel, lateral lever escapement of a platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 78 x 55 x 49 mm
