Notes

A very interesting box, most likely taken from Rochat stock and finished by Bruguier. A singing bird box with a strikingly similar movement marked with three tulips and numbered 391, with the same type of mounting brackets, is in the collection of the Musee international d'horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Another one, with the same construction, and the same enamel landscape on the bird cover by Berguer & Fils was used by Patek Philippe to house their movement No. 28393.
