C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", back with engraved coat-of-arms, gold hinged cuvette, lever at 11 o'clock for striking/silent, another at 2 o'clock for petite or grande sonnerie. D. Off-white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "double spade" hands. M. 44 mm. (19'''3/4), frosted gilt bridge caliber, 35 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement with the lift on the pallets, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, sriking and repeating on two gongs, repeater activated by tripping the slide on the band.Cuvette engraved with inscription dated Feb. 24, 1916.Diam. 53 mm.
