The TulipUnsigned, Geneva, circa 1820.Very fine 18K gold and enamel concealed dial form watch designed as a tulip.
C. Three-body, two petals are spring-loaded and very realistically painted on enamel, hinged to the base of the flower which is in translucent red enamel over flinqué with green leaves stemming from a gold stalk, suspended by four chains joined at a single ring. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic 15 minutes, winding aperture at 1 o'clock. Blued steel "lozenge" hands. M. 19.5 mm., hinged, gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, pain brass balance, continental cock.Case stamped with an "A" superimposed with an inverted "A".Dim. Length 37 mm, width 25 mm.
