C. Three-piece, "Empire", polished back, reeded band. D. Small, gilt, set in the center of a blued plate, Roman numerals and outer minute divisions. Blued steel "Feuille" hands. Two varicolored figures of Minerva and Mars on each side striking a bell, Hercules as a child with the snake below, cherub above the bell. M. 40 mm. (17 3/4'''), rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, repeatingon gongs by depressing lever at the band.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 49 mm.
