Leonidas, "Chronografo a Ritorno", No. 159768, Reversing Stop Watch for Equal Distance Bomb Sight, Height graduated in meters. Produced in the 1940's. Fine , stainless steel, military watch with round single button, back and forth "retrograde" chronograph.
C. three-body, brushed, lobed revolving bezel, mobile lugs. The pusher on the 11 is for stopping the chronograph hand, the coaxial pusher on the winding-crown is for starting the chronograph function back and forth and return to zero. D. black with radium-coated Arabic numerals graduated in "hm" from 5 to 60, the trianglular index on the outer graduation in fifth of second can be set by turning the bezel. "Lozenge" blued steel and radium coated chronograph hand. M. Cal. 21''', gilt brass, 15 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Case numbered. Diam. 56 mm.
