Mauboussin Paris, No. 1052, so-called "Clou". Produced in the 1930's. Very fine and rare, Art Deco, asymmetrical, 18K pink gold and sapphire-set lady's wristwatch "dite clou" with double snake chain-bracelet.

C. two-body, solid, polished, at the double chain end, the widest part of the case set with six square-cut sapphires, the clasp of bracelets also set with four square-cut sapphires, at the narrow end of the case, a wavy arabesque for a large trapezoidal buckle to fix the bracelet. D. brushed pink gold with painted dot and applied square pink gold indexes. "Moderne" blued steel hands. M.
