Blancpain, "Chronographe Rattrapante, Calendrier Perpétuel". Produced in the 1990's. Very fine and rare, astronomic, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with round button split-second chronograph, registers, perpetual calendar, age and phases of the moon and a platinum Blancpain buckle.
C. three-body, massive, polished, stepped bezel, sapphire crystal. D. white enamel with applied white gold Roman numerals, auxiliary dials for the 12 hour and 30 minute registers, the days of the month, of the week, the months, the leap year, graduation for the age of the moon, aperture for the moon phases. "Bâton" white gold luminous hands. M. Cal. 5581, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 38 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm.
