Notes

Engraved on the case back: "MANU-FACTURE EXCLUSIVEMENT POUR LE PROPRIETAIRE DE LA F50 NO. ZFFTA46B000102852", the signa-ture and a yellow enamel escu-tcheon representing the Ferrari logo. "FERRARI F50" From 1995 to 1997, Ferrari built only 349 examples of this prestigious road-going car for the whole world. With its 750 hp, this car embodied radical technology previously reserved for race cars. A new set of rules for this prototype was introduced in the early 90's by the organizers of Le Mans (France) and the FIA. The Ferrari F50 was developed with the aim of winning Le Mans and other races in 1995 and 1996, but budgetary restraints and the expenses on Formula 1 led to the abortion of this project. Nevertheless, with its performance, it is undoutebly the most beautiful car of the era. Only one example of this wristwatch was produced in platinum. Contrary to the other models of the "Ferrari" collection, the "F50" carries its coveted Ferrari logo as a very artistic miniature on the back of the watch. The first series of watches "F50" was an exclusive production of 349 examples and delivered to F50 owners only, on the condition that the car number would be engraved on the case back, the name and address consigned in Girard-Perregaux records. The second series of watches "F50" was produced in 250 examples in yellow, white and pink gold, in platinum and in titanium, and was distributed to retailers.
