Four-body, "bassine et filets", the front depicting a young man declaring his love to a young woman, a servant in the background, the back with a portrait of a young woman, the band with a red enamel geometrical pattern, gold hinged cuvette over gold bezel glazed to view the movement. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph track with Arabic progressive scale. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 46.7 mm. (21'''), gilt 3/4 plate, straight line lever escapement, cut bimtallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, lever-set, striking on two gongs by a slide on the band.Signed on the dial, cuvette inscribed "Medaille Exposition Universelle, Paris 1889", stamped 6812 on the pillar plate under the dial, the case punched with Maurice Ditisheim's trademark.Diam. 56 mm.
