Unsigned, probably Conrad Kreizer, German, circa 1600.Highly important small and fine rock crystal, gilt and enamel pre balance spring single-hand pendant watch with stackfreed.

Two-body, octagonal, deep back, cut from a single piece of rock crystal, faceted on the sides and the back, hinged rock crystal front cover similarly faceted with small central finial fixed to a gilt bezel, small pendant and finial. D. Octagonal, silver, Roman numerals with half-hour divisions, decorated in champlevé enamel in floral and foliate motifs. Gilt "tulip" hand. M. Oval, 26 x 22 mm. (back plate), gilt brass full plate, column pillars, fixed barrel, C-shaped stackfreed, four-wheel trin (pinions with 6,5,5,5 leaves), verge escapement, circular steel foliot, hog bristle mounted on adjustable pivoted lever, small brass S-shaped cock with wide pierced and engraved foot secured by a screw.Dim. 50 (with pendant and finial) x 27 mm.
