Unsigned, Neuchâtel, circa 1850.Fine and rare 18K gold and enamel pearl- and ruby-set bangle watch.
C. Three-body bangle with hinged top decorated with a skeletonized azure enamel pattern, centered with an oval ruby surrounded by four pearls, two rubies on each extremity, scrolling borders, hinged, engraved bracelet expanding at the top, snap-on bezel to hold the watch. Watch: Four-body, "bassine", back centered by floral motifs on a white enamel background, scrolling engraving, reeded band, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hads. M. 20 mm. (9'''), frosted gilt, early bridge caliber, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring.Bangle punched with Neuchâtel gold marks.Dim. Bangle (closed) 65 x 64 mm., watch diam. 23 mm.
