Four-body, massive, "consular", polished, the cover with an engraved coat of arms and motto "In Gott Allein", the back with a monogram, inside the front cover a very finely painted on enamel portrait of a lady, cuvette with engraved dedication, dated Sept. 22, 1880. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold "fleur-de-lis" hands. M. 41 mm. (18 1/4'''), 3/4- plate, frosted gilt, cylindrical pillars, fusee with maintaining power and chain, ruby duplex escaement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, flat balance spring.Signed on the dial and the back plate, cuvette inscribed to "William Somer Leo Schuster" from his father on the attainment of his majority, 22nd Sept. 1880".Diam. 50 mm.
