American Waltham Watch Co., No. 4735048, Model 1888, "Royal" Grade , circa 1890.Fine, gold-filled, keyless watch with an unusual dial and rare original case certificate.
C. Four-body, "bassine" by "C.W.C. Co." No. 399018, polished, triple hinged, vermicelli band, cuvette damascened inside with "sunray"-pattern. D. Off-white and rose enamel with blue radial Arabic nu-merals in white cartouches on a rose reserve, gold paillon leaves bet-ween, outer gold paillon minute ring, center with fancy rosette made of gold paillon leaves and ruby pastes. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 16 size, frosted gilt, 3/4 split plate, 15 jewels, the top ones in screwed flush settings, straiht line lever escapement, cut bime-tallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, cam micrometric regulator, engraved balance and pallet bridge.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 52 mm.
