C. Four-body, by Bay State, No. 143053, "bassine et filets" engraved with floral pattern on circular engine turning background, vermicelli bezels and band, gold hinged cuvette. D. Translucent dark blue enamel on "sunburst" engine turning, gold paillon Arabic numerals, outer gold dot paillon minute track, recessed subsidiary seconds with gilt radial Arabic numerals. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 16 size, nickel, 3/4 split plate, damascened in a variety of different patterns, 15 jewels in flush screwd settings, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Church type II patented (No. 484,176) micrometric regulator, pendant set.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 53 mm.
