Baseball GameAmerican Waltham Watch Co., No.6707684, Model 1883, Grade 1884, made in 1898.Very fine and rare, almost mint-condition, yellow gold-filled key-less watch with an unusual baseball dial.
C. Three-piece, by Star Case Co., No. 9685215, decorated with strap work and a very unusual Damascus steel pattern. D. White enamel, small elegant radial Roman numerals on the outermost, inner minute track, each hour represented by a painted baseball player, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel, "Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate, damascening in a wavy pattern, 15 jewels in flush screwed settings, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic com-pensation balance with blued steel Beguet balance spring, Church type II patented (No. 484,176) micrometric regulator, pendant set.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm.
