American Waltham Watch Co., No. 16373563, Model 1883, Grade No. 825, circa 1907.Fine, almost mint-condition, 20-year yellow gold-filled, keyless watch with an unusual dial.
C. Three-body, "bassine" by "Keystone" using J. Boss patent, screw bezel and back, engine-turned and engraved. D. Off-white and light blue enamel, fancy gold paillon radial Arabic numerals with black shadows for the relief effect, light blue reserve, outer gold paillon minute ring, center decorated with elaborate gold paillon pattern, recessed sub-seconds with gold paillon decoration. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate, damascened in Barley corn pattern, 17 jewels, the top onein screwed settings, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, Ohlson's rack and pinion patented (No. 818043) micrometric regulator. Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 56 mm.
