C. Four-body, by L.H. & Co (Louis Hilbert of NY), No. 50257, triple-hinged, "bassine", large box hinge, engraved in an unusual pattern, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel "American Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate damascened in wavy pattern, 15 jewels, adjusted, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed on dial and movemet.Diam. 34 mm.
