C. Four-body, by M.F&Co (Max Freund of NY) triple-hinged, "bas-sine", large box hinge, engraved in an unusual pattern, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer line encircled minute track, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel "American Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate damascened in a wavy pattern, 15 jewels, adjusted, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balan-ce spring, Moseley and Hunter patented (No.157,021) micrometric regulator. Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54mm.

The watch features a very unusual case decoration (resembling Paul Stucker's design of 1887, Patent No. 17104, shape, and hinge-size. Furthermore, the common theme shared between this example andLot 430, indicate ties between both companies.
