C. Four-body, "bassine", triple-hinged, by Roy, No. 266265, engine-turned with barley corn pattern gold hinged cuvette. D. Enamel, two-time, fancy upright Arabic numerals within semi-circles made of silver paillons, blue sapphire-like stones, fleur-de-lis paillons below, minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers, sunk blue center with silver lozenge paillons, subsidiary sunk seconds framed with silver paillons, whole overglazed, transparent counter-enamel. Gilt "Louis XV" hands. M. Nickel-finihed, half-plate, elaborately damascened with wavy circular patterns, 19 jewels with raised gold settings, gold train, patented safety motor barrel, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Meseley & Hunter patented (No. 157,021) micrometric regulator, damscened winding wheels, lever-set.Signed on dial and movement, case punched "ROY".Diam. 51mm.
