C. Three-body, "bassine et filets" screw back and bezel, by "Essex/Columbia", floral and engine turned back decoration, knurled edges. D. White enamel with gold paillon Arabic numerals and black shadows for relief effect, outer minute ring with 5-minute ruby-paste markers, sunk subsidiary seconds. Rose gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate, two-tone, elaborately damas-cened, center gold washed, 17 jewels, the top ones in screwed gold settings, straight line lever escapement, cutimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, adjusted, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, Church Type II patented (No. 484,176) micrometric regu-lator. Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 56 mm.
