American Waltham Watch Co., No. 5235005, Model 1883, "P.S. Bartlett" Grade, made in January 1891.Fine and rare, almost mint-condition, 14K gold, engraved hunting-cased, keyless watch with an elaborate O'Hara dial.

Off-white, rose and green elaborately decorated with strap and paillon work, outer gold paillon minute ring with emerald-paste 5-minute markers, recessed sub-seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18 size, brass, full plate damascened and gold washed, 17 jewels with flush gold settings, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation blance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Church type I patented (No. 312,253) micrometric regulator, safety pinion, lever-set with Church disengaged intermediate wheel patented (No. 295484) system.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm.
