The Odd FellowsAmerican Waltham Watch Co., No. 4708179, "Appleton, Tracy & Co." Grade, made for the railroad Inspector E.A. Sutter, Abilene, Kansas in 1892.Very fine and rare, 14K gold, hunting-cased, keyless Railroad-grade watch with an unusual dial.
C. Four-body, "bassine" engine turned covers, vermicelli engined band smoothly extending on the bezels, gold hinged cuvette.D. White enamel, elegant small Roman numerals, Odd Fellows symbol, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 18 size, full plate, gold washed damascening in a wavy pattern, 17 jewels, adjusted, lateral counterpoised lever escapement. Signed on dial, movement signed by the Railroad Inspector.Diam. 58 mm.
