Non-Magnetic American GradeAmerican Watch Co., Waltham, Mass., No. 3574333, Model 1888, "AWCo" Grade, made between 1888 - 90.Very fine, 14K gold keyless watch, with an unusual dial and a non-magnetic escapement.

C. Three-body, "bassine et filets" by "W.W.C. Co.", triple hinged, engine-turned and engraved with foliage back, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, upper half very fine painted with polychrome nightingale singing on a small branch of blossoming tree, blue sky in the background, Roman numerals alternating with sapphire-pastes within gold paillon circles, outer minute ring with five-minute diamond-paste markers, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 16 size, nickel, 3/4 split plate, dmascened, 17 jewels, the top ones in screwed gold settings, gold center wheel, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, palladium Breguet balance spring, Church type II patented (No. 484,176) micrometer regulator. Signed on the dial and movement. Diam. 48.4 mm.
