American Waltham Watch Co., No. 3397437, Model 1883, Grade No. 15, made in January-February 1888.Very fine and rare, 14K gold, keyless watch with an elaborate O'Hara dial in an almost mint-condition engraved hunting-case.

Four-body, "bassine" with scalloped edges, by D & Co., No. 76611, both covers engraved with a fox hunting for ducks, floral surroundings, vermicelli borders, band in vermicelli pattern with concave polished cartouches, gold hinged cuvette. D. White and light red enamel elaborately decorated with strap and paillon work, radial Arabic numerals, outer paillon minute ring with ruby-paste 5-minute markers, recessed sub-seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 18 size, nickel full plate matted and damascned with rosette pattern, 15 jewels with flush settings, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Church type I patented (No. 312,253) micrometric regulator, safety pinion, pendant set. Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm.
