Elgin National Watch Co., No. 16633655, Grade 312, circa 1910.Fine, almost mint-condition, 14K multicolored gold, hunting-cased, box-hinged, keyless watch with a B.P.O.E. dial. Accom-panied by a gold chain set with an Elk's tooth.
C. Four-body by Solidarity, triple-hinged "bassine, carrure ronde", back cover centered with applied red gold Elk's head among applied multicolored gold leaves and flowers against straight line engine turning, bezels with scrolling and vermicelli engine turning, front centered with a crest, polished cuvette. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer line minute track, satin overglazed, counter-enamel gloss overglazed, sunk sub-seconds. Blued steel double swell "Spade" hands. M. 16 size, nickel,alf-plate damascened with scallop pattern, rosette in the center, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Moseley-Hunter patented (No. 157,021) micrometric regulator. Signed on the movement.Diam. 50 mm.
