C. Four-body, "bassine" covers engraved with a lion's head on engine turned background, knurled band, gold hinged cuvette.D. White enamel, double sunk, hand painted letters "CHARLES H. HYDE" for the numerals, outer minute track, center painted with a steamship, sunk sub-seconds. M. 18 size, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, late-ral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring.Signed on movement.Diam. 56 mm.
