E. Howard & Co. Boston, No. 102582, Series VI, circa 1886.Very fine, 14K multicolored gold, hunting-cased, keyless pendant watch with an unusual case. Accompanied by a gold chain.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets" triple-hinged, by "E.H & Co.", hinged covers elaborately decorated with heavy applied stylized floral and foliate pattern, front centered by a monogrammed crest, back centered by a stag in a marsh landscape, engraved band with geometrical pattern, hinged gold cuvette with inscription, inside with "Sunray"-pattern. D. White enamel with painted Roman nu-merals, outer minute ring with 5-minute Arabic markers, sunk sub-seconds, "Crescent" blued steel hands. M. G siz, frosted gilt, 3/4 plate, 15 jewels, the top ones in screwed raised gold settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel flat balance-spring, engraved balance bridge. Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 43 mm.
