C. Four-body, "bassine" by E.H. & Co., No. 70089, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. Translucent red enamel over elaborate engine turning, blue Arabic numerals on light blue cartouches within continuous gold paillon frames, silver paillon dot minute ring, gold paillon laurel-leaf decoration, sunk sub-seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. N size, nickel, 3/4-plate, damascened, 15 jewels in gold raised settings, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flatalance spring, Reed's patented whiplash micrometric regulator.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm.
