White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "American Spade" hands. M. N size (42.5 mm), gilt, split full plate, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compen-sation balance with blued steel flat balance spring, engraved balance cock.Signed on dial and movement, movement engraved "Reed's Patent. Nov. 24.1857."Diam. 53.8 mm.
