Four-body, Illinois Watch Case Co., Elgin, Ill, triple-hinged, "bas-sine"back engraved with rural scene, borders engine turned and florally engraved, matching front cover with initial crest in the center, polished band and cuvette. D. White enamel, double-sunk, Roman gilt numerals surrounded in delicate scrolling, outer line minute encircled track, center with finely painted locomotive with the coal car behind, sunk sub-seconds with gold letters "BLE" and locomotive whistle. Blued steel "Fleu-de-Lis" hands. M. 18 size, gilt, full plate, 15 jewels, adjusted, lateral counterpoised lever escape-ment, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Moseley and Hunter patented (No. 157,021) micrometric regulator.Signed on dial and movement.Diam. 54m|M|
